2:17 Ellexis (20/1) won well enough over the C&D 2 races back from a 1lb lower. I can't tell you why she's a no hoper according to the book.

She looks a bit of a wild one I won't argue there. She gets mounted away from the others. Goes down early. Unsociable.

She can run though. At the odds on offer, from trap 2 in a big field, I'll play.

2:47 Lincoln Legacy (20/1) runs for the 2nd time, after a wind op, for her new Furtado yard over a mile today.

The formbook looks like she doesn't like the extra furlong. I note she runs on when in the mood over 7f. She also has a reasonable run under her belt over 8f in a grade higher from half a stone worse off than today.

I'll take my chances at the huge odds available on the strength of it.
