5:00 Caelan (40/1) had a spin 10 days ago after a break. Must have needed the run.

If he's ready to go now, I see no reason why he can't get in the mix against these from an inside sit.

I think his odds should be around the 10/1 mark, so 40's will do me.

6:30 Lightly raced 4yo Mostly Mozart (18/1) is having his 3rd run in a row over the quirky 9.5f at Wolver. He can only improve for the persistence.

He's drawn well, running regularly, in his grade, + overpriced X2 in my opinion.

7:30 Starsong (18/1) will almost certainly be in the mix at the end from a mark of 52.

I know absolutely zero about his Irish jockey who claims 7lb. That would usually put me off at Wolver. But, Starsong's not a difficult ride. He races up with the pace from the start and tries to stay there, so the 7lb could come in handy.

Add to that the price. I make him a 6/1 shot if he had a top jock on board, so I'll take my chance at the price.
