I’m going to oppose Colour Of Money for two reasons. Firstly due to the bounce factor as he won last time out after a long layoff. Secondly, he has a difficult (not impossible) task from stall 11.
After bitter experiences, I’ve learnt that at this grade, changes in class i.e. from claimer/seller to handicap is irrelevant, therefore Kabis Amigos coming off the back of a recent win within 7 days comes into consideration.
Though on the slide in respect to recent performances Mountain Pass also comes into consideration from stall 4.
Jord’s 0-5-12 record over 7 furlongs does not inspire confidence however she’s proven she can get 8 furlongs when making all on fibresand at Southwell. Her recent 3rd behind Kabis Amigos was noted as “unlucky” due to a tardy start and denial of a clear run in the final furlong
Bet: either Kabis Amigos, Mountain Pass or Jord @ 4/1 or better.
I can see front runner Rio L'Oren claiming a place Sandracer.
