Race Overview: Advertisement looks the one to beat in a competitive opener with Eternal Luck and Baronovici also worth considering. The selection is well drawn here and has shown enough in his two starts so far to set the benchmark for the rest. He ran well on his racecourse bow at Goodwood and lost no caste in defeat behind Mahusay at Leicester last time. If he can show nominal improvement then this colt from the Clive Cox yard should take plenty of beating. Eternal Luck is a well-bred colt from a top yard and from a fair draw he is certainly one to note in the market on his debut. Baronovici is another interesting newcomer from the Richard Hannon yard and he also has a decent draw. The stable are in good form so he is obvious shortlist material. Artsu looks the part on breeding and may fare best of those with a low draw, but Advertisement has plenty in his favour and can land the prize.

Race Overview: Nuit Sombre can make it back-to-back wins by landing this claimer; Nero's Return and Prince Des Neiges should give him the most to think about. The selection won in good style at Chepstow last time when beating Sawwaah. He goes well fresh and as this is only his second run of the season he could be worth siding with again. Nero's Return has yet to hit top form since joining Gary Moore but he was a little unlucky last time when he was forced to race wide throughout and now that he is dropped to this grade he should be capable of getting competitive. Prince Des Neiges has finished second on each of his last three starts and although he should again be capable of running into a place, this ground is quicker than is ideal for him. Black Falcon is eased in grade so could be of some interest at an each-way price, but Nuit Sombre is clearly on good terms with himself at present and he can get his head in front again tonight.

Race Overview: Cinematic is a model of consistency and gets our vote to resume winning ways here with Oscar Snowman and Crossbow Creek the chief rivals. The selection has been holding his form well on the all-weather and he lost no caste in defeat on his return to the turf last time when finishing second behind Just Lille. He has his ground again today and he should prove tough to beat. Oscar Snowman is a lightly-raced 4-year-old from the Marcus Tregoning yard and he was reported to have hung right in the early stages when a little disappointing at Lingfield last time. However, he does not lack for ability and it would not be a surprise if he were to bounce back today. Crossbow Creek has been running over fences and although he was disappointing last time at Aintree at least that should put him spot on for this as that was his first run since the autumn. Night Cru shaped with plenty of promise last time and looks primed for a big run, but Cinematic looked a picture last time and gets the vote.

Race Overview: Baileys Outshine was well fancied when winning last time out and she can see off the challenge of Gower and Ocean Blaze. The selection defied top weight to score impressively at Ayr last month and with this fast ground very much in her favour she can get her head in front again. Gower should give her the most to think about as he finished fourth over this course and distance last time but the form of that race has worked out well to give his claims a boost today. Ocean Blaze has not been easy to predict so far but she took advantage of the plum draw to score at Bath last time and it will be interesting to see if she can go on from that. Rocker has a good draw here a and he will suited by the return to the minimum trip after a disappointing effort over 6f last time. However, Baileys Outshine is in good form at present and she can outshine her rivals again today.

Race Overview: Aggravation gets the vote in this handicap over Jill Dawson and Veiled Applause. The selection is a course and distance winner and he won successive races last season when he found his form. He remains on a fair mark and with ground conditions to suit he can go in again. Jill Dawson is a half-sister to Jack Dawson and she scored on her seasonsal reappearance when beating Murrumbidgee at Warwick. If she improves for that run then she will certainly give our selection plenty to think about. Veiled Applause chased home Night Wolf at Brighton last time and he should be in the shake-up again today, although he may need a bit of help from the handicapper before he is able to resume winning ways. Out For A Stroll is from a shrewd yard and could be worth a look in the market, but Aggravation might be worth sticking with now that he has found his form.

Race Overview: This is a wide open fillies' handicap to close the card and the shortlist contains Lawyers Choice, Russian Gift and Scarlett Heart with the vote given to the last mentioned. The selection has more on her plate here because her recent win came in a claimer, however she did score with plenty in hand that day and she looks to be a filly on the upgrade. Lawyers Choice is an interesting runner on her handicap debut and she is afforded respect. But the reality is that she has been off the track since last year and she may just need this run to set her straight. Russian Gift chased home Ocean Blaze last time and as that rival runs in the 8.05 race tonight, then that will give a decent indication as to the merits of the form. Ensign's Trick has been running well and seems to be improving with her racing so she is not one to dismiss lightly. However, Scarlett Heart looked like one to stay on the right side of last time and she gets our vote.
