UK RACE COMMENTARY7:00 Sycamore (25/1) seems to have found a seam of decent form this year. Basically, he's running well and is way over priced.
To win this outright though, statistically he'll have to run a near lifetime best performance, from a car park draw. For me, that doesn't stop horses winning over a mile+ at Southwell. If anything, it'll rule out a front running ride. I think he's better running on late.
Also, the more fancied horses don't look like much to me. The other half look decidely no hopey on latest form. If there is such a thing as a weak looking handicap for the grade, this is it.
Sycamore running well as he is, has a much better chance than the odds suggest. Cheers, Sandracer.
