UK RACE COMMENTARY2:22 River Wharfe (25/1) has dropped a stone in the weights over 10 races in a 12 month period. Ok some runs were pants, but others, not so bad. What you end up with is a win waiting to happen, while the weight gets lower and the price increases.
With Luke Morris aboard, dropped back to 7f, carrying 48, at 25/1, I am taking the chance draw 14 will make it a hold up ride today, which I think suits River Wharfe.
4:25 Lilkian (12/1) used too much juice from out wide getting a racing position up the front last time. He ran well, looked back on form, but got caught with half a furlong to go and was eased. Drawn in trap 2 today, he can bag the rail and save energy.
Today's short priced jolly has bounced hard after a win before. If he does it again today, Lilkian will be in like Flynn. Cheers, Sandracer.
