UK RACE COMMENTARY2:50 Platinum Prince (14/1) is one I'll take a chance on in a TV race. He's an in and out performer, who ran ok over the C&D last time. It was his first try over the wide sweeping bends of the Chelmsford AW track. I thought he got blocked in on the rail at a vital time in the race.
With a clearer passage, and time to wind up a run to the finish, he could improve the 3 lengths he needs from last race to this. I suspect that's why Gary Moore returns here with him straight away.
5:15 Man Of Riddles (16/1) beaten easily by today's jolly at Kempton, beat today's 3rd fav Netacata hands down, fair and square, over the C&D 3 races ago. The bookies and punters are unimpressed I see, judging by the 16/1 on offer a repeat, albeit with 2lb extra to carry.
Distance, course, jockey all the same, G5 instead of 6 is the only difference. I'll take the 16's. Cheers, Sandracer.
