Race Overview: Bryan Smart's juveniles are in great form and Easy Target can make a winning debut this afternoon, Let Us Prey and Smileforawhile look to be the main rivals. The stable don't have that many expensive purchases in the yard and so 60 thousand guineas means this could be one of the stable stars. He is very nicely bred being by Danehill Dancer out of a half sister to the very fast Watching. This trip should be ideal and so long as the market isn't too negative she looks the one to be on. Let Us Prey made avery promising debut behind Swiss Franc, a race that is working out really well. He should improve for the run and looks an obvious threat. Smileforawhile is improving with racing and hails from a yard with good line to juvenile form. Indian Days and Merchant Of Dubai are two others to watch out for in the betting, but the form of the stable sways us back to Easy Target.

Race Overview: Smile For Us is just a token choice in a wide open handicap, Dakota Rain and Mistral Sky could provide most danger. The selection has shown improved form this summer and was just beaten by the well drawn Vegas Boys last time out with today's rival Mistral Sky back in fifth. Ground and trip are in his favour again this afternoon and he should give us a good run for our money. Mistral Sky should get a lot closer at the weights this afternoon but will find it hard to reverse the form. Dakota Rain has to shoulder top-weight having put in some excellent efforts last season. The stable are back amongst the winners and this son of Indian Ridge will be hard to keep out of the places. Hoh Wotanite is starting to look well treated and looks the pick of the others, but Smile For Us has the best recent form on show and he gets our vote.

Race Overview: A tough handicap to weigh up with plenty of them open to improvement and so a narrow vote is given to Fragrancy, with Danehillsundance and Docofthebay also expected to go well. Michael Jarvis's filly made a winning debut at Lingfield last October and has put in two decent efforts since. The latest was over nine at Goodwood when four lengths behind Mr Aviator. She only weakend in the final furlong and so the drop back to a mile should be ideal. Docofthebay beat a decent type at Thirsk last month, but couldn't follow up under a penalty, he may once again find one or two in front of him today. A bigger threat could be Danehillsundnace. Richard Hannon's charge ended last year with a victory on the all-weather and returned recently with an excellent second behind Slate at Folkestone. He should come on for the run and should make his presence felt. Radical Views and Practically Perfect are two others worthy of respect and so it is with not too much confidence that we select Fragrancy.

Race Overview: Another very trappy looking event and Farleigh House is given a narrow vote ahead of Bid For Glory and The Illies. The selection was behind Bid For Glory when they met at Newmarket last month in the race won by Artimino. Farleigh House has a four pound pull in the weights for a two length defeat and so it should be very close between them, but we just prefer the Mark Tompkins runner this afternoon. The Illies also has a form line with the selection having finished just half a length behind him when they met at headquarters. The Barry Hills trained colt should come on for the run and has be consisderd a real danger. Lady Gloria has been in great form and is another possible and so in what is a punters nightmare Farleigh House is the tentative choice.

Race Overview: David Pinder doesn't get too many winners from his small string but Lunar River was successful last time out and this one can follow up this afternoon, Saluscraggie and Stolen Glance could be the main rivals. The selection held on well to beat Uig in that Lingfield event. The form looks pretty strong as the runner up won next time out and there were two previous winners behind. The handicapper has given her every chance with just a four pound rise in the weights. Stolen Glance has been in great form of late landing a couple of victories and he can go well despite top-weight. Saluscraggie didn't beat much last time but is open to improvement and Furbeseta is from a top yard and deserves every respect, however Lunar River still looks on a decent mark and she gets our vote.

Race Overview: Sign Of The Cross should have come on for his recent run and gets the vote ahead of Thinking Positive and Arabiyah. James Fanshawe's colt looked as if he would improve fitness-wise for that run at Yarmouth as he came with a strong run inside the final quarter of a mile but tired close home. Today's quicker ground should hold no fears and Jamie Spencer can add another to his tally. Thinking Positive ran a race full of promise on her debut last year; the winner of that race, Light Shift, went on to Oaks glory in June. That form looks very solid (2nd, 7th, 8th, 12th, and 13th have all won since) and with another winter on her back, she warrants utmost respect for her powerful stable. Sky Chart managed to unseat his rider on debut when running extremely green and better can be expected today, whilst Arabiyah improved on his first run to finish fourth at Chepstow 16 days ago. He again needs to step up to trouble the judge today. At a price Montrachet could go well if improving for the experience of her debut run, however Sign Of The Cross looks progressive and can score at the third time of asking.

Race Overview: Sister Act can complete a quick double for James Fanshawe at the main expense of Ionian and First Buddy whilst newcomer Pivotal Answer needs a check in the market. The selection ran with a great deal of promise on her debut over seven furlongs at Newbury and now stepped up a furlong in trip, this sister to Soviet Song looks sure to mount a bold bid today. The ground holds no fears given the way she quickened well on debut and she must be hard to beat in this average maiden. Ionian shaped with plenty of promise on debut at Wolverhampton although this step up to mile may be a tad too far at this stage of his career. Henry Cecil's Handset drops in trip after disappointing last time out whilst Alan Swinbank's Flagstone is another who drops in trip, this time by half a mile. Connections are struggling to find his trip but watch him for confidence in the betting. First Buddy was a beaten favourite last time out and doesn't look one for maximum confidence, however another winter may have done him some good and he cannot be ruled out. At a price Indigo Rose could go well, however Sister Act can build on her debut run and score today.

Race Overview: Grandad Bill's last win came when trained by Tim Easterby back in 2005 but he is out of form and so the vote goes to Don't Mind Me ahead of Ruby Legend and Takes Tutu. The selection has found one too good in each of his last three starts and thus has been creeping up the weights for getting beaten. That isn't ideal, however the feeling is that today's drop in trip could be. He was held up to get the longer trip last time out but was given too much to do in the end. Classy jockey Kerrin McEvoy takes over in the saddle today and he looks primed for another big run. Course and distance winner Ruby Legend knows how to win and looked as if he was coming to hand last time out with a decent third at Newcastle. The booking of Philip Robinson for Takes Tutu looks interesting and the horse is over 30lbs below his highest winning mark. The veteran makes a return to turf today and should be watched for market support. Monsignor Fred should have come on for his recent run and now dropped in trip he warrants a check in the market. Royal Indulgence is another for consideration if avoiding one of his customary slow starts. Better ground will suit for Faversham and he goes on the shortlist, however Don't Mind Me can finally get his head in front.
