Race Overview: Plenty of pace on here despite the small field and with that in mind hold-up performer Sweet Pickle gets the nod ahead of Owed, Came Back and Cool Sands. Owed is one of the most consistent horses this winter on the all-weather and this small field will suit. However there could be several of these duelling for an early lead and they may just cut each others throats. Therefore Sweet Pickle, who was a close second to Owed three weeks ago gets the vote. Jim Boyle's charge hasn't been raised in the weights for that good run whilst Owed has gone up to a career high mark of 73. Cool Sands loves it round here and must be respected along with Came Back, but both like to race prominently. First-time blinkers on Calypso King catch the eye, however Sweet Pickle may have the race run to suit and can score.
