Race Overview: Galipette is preferred to Six Of Diamonds and Duchess Royale. Galipette showed a modicum of ability last term on soft going and the fact that current connections have elected to hold on for this season rather than dispose via the sales ring, should be enough of a recommendation. Six Of Diamonds was well fancied last time but ultimately flopped on all-weather debut. It would be no surprise to see punters on a recovery mission. Duchess Royale is a well bred individual and might find this trip a little on the sharp side. She nevertheless is one to note for future reference. Dairy Maid is a half-sister to Mango Magic and could be anything. Royal Rock will be eligible for handicap following this run. Jawaaneb was highly tried on debut behind Diamond Tycoon. The market suggested not too much was anticipated. Galipette is not likely to be a great price but in a race full of imponderables, it might be worth taking a chance.
