UK RACE COMMENTARYOk, so I backed the disqualified 4/1 shot Apex in the Southwell 4.30 1 mile 3 furlongs handicap, but it does not necissarily follow I would talk through my pocket and deny a jockey made a mistake. If I could clearly see it were a case of bad riding, I would gladly say so.
The Southwell stewards judged Haddon Frost and his horse Apex had carried the short-head 2nd placed horse Sugatani out to the right in the last furlong and decided to reverse the 1st and 2nd placed horses finishing order.
♠ Haddon Frost, is suspended on May 12 through to May 14.
