Race Selection: Right Ted. (Unplaced 25/1)
Right Ted is not easy to win with, but has a 7f (maiden) win under his belt going back a couple of years when front running tactics were employed. Front running tactics were employed in his first race back from a 3 month hiatus in his last race run over 1mile 1furlongs by jockey Mickey Fenton. Right Ted(40/1) stayed up with the pace for a good 7 furlongs and weakened very badly 2 out. Neil Callan is on board this time and with similar tactics over a furlong shorter, I am looking for a big surprise in the race seeing Right Ted now has a recent run under his belt. I rate Right Ted around an 8/1 shot as my betting forecast indicates, but at possible odds around the 25-33/1 mark, Right Ted could just prove to be a profitable runner for me today.
